Who we are

Ili Cohen – Managing Director
Ili Cohen brings a long track record of hands-on M&A execution, from growth strategy planning and deal targeting through transaction negotiations. He led over $1B worth of multiple acquisitions, investments, growth initiatives and acquisition integrations.
Ili is also a General Partner at Magma VC, one of Israel’s most prominent VC firms and serves as a board member of multiple technology firms.
Prior to Synergy Capital, Ili served as VP of Corporate Development for some of Israel’s leading technology firms, Comverse Technology (NASDAQ: CMVT) and Gilat Satellite Networks (NASDAQ: GILT).
Previously, Ili worked and advised a number of local and global Fortune 500 firms on corporate development and strategy, including Coca Cola Company and Monsanto in the US, as well as Pelephone Communications, Tower Semiconductor, Teva Pharmaceuticals and some of the leading financial services firms in Israel.
Ili holds a B.A. in Management and in Economics (Magna Cum Laude) from Tel Aviv University and an MBA from Kellogg School at Northwestern University, with Academic Distinction.

Tal Munk-Weisleder – Partner
Tal Munk-Weisleder is an accomplished Post Merger Integration (PMI) expert with vast experience in leading and coaching global cross-functional teams through the post-merger integration process from due diligence through closing, to the successful completion of the integration process
Throughout her career, Tal has completed the integration of over 30 companies, across the US, Europe, Israel, and Asia.
Mrs. Munk-Weisleder is experienced in leading integration efforts across all functional streams including Product, HR, Sales, Operations, Finance, IT, Supply Chain and more.
Prior to her consulting career, Tal led the PMI practice at Amdocs (NASDAQ: DOX), a global product led services company.
Mrs. Munk-Weisleder is a Technion Industrial & Management Engineer, with an MBA from Santa Clara University and is a certified project Management professional (PMP).
Tal has spent her professional life between Tel Aviv, Israel and Silicon Valley, and working with clients in Japan, Singapore, Russia, Germany, UK and Chile, building excellent cross culture working abilities.

Ruby Chen – Partner
Ruby Chen is a corporate venture capital (CVC), innovation and investment banking executive with over two decades of experience driving innovation-led growth for global corporations. He has established and led CVC programs for Hyundai [Korea KRX: 005380], Amdocs [telecom software, NASDAQ: DOX], NICE Systems [enterprise software, NASDAQ: NICE], and ZIM Integrated Shipping [NYSE: ZIM]. In addition, he was a founding member of TheTime, an early-stage investment platform supporting Israeli tech startups.
Ruby specializes in sourcing, structuring, and managing strategic investments that align with corporate growth priorities while delivering financial returns. His work spans diverse sectors including mobility, telecommunications, enterprise software, AI, and cybersecurity. He brings particular expertise in cross-border dealmaking and strategic partnerships between startups and large enterprises.
With an MBA in Technology Marketing from Tel Aviv University, Ruby is valued for his track record of successful venture-backed collaborations and M&A outcomes.
Ruby brings a hands-on, strategy-first approach to helping clients and partners navigate the intersection of innovation, investment, and long-term value creation.
